Immediately after the IALCCE workshop, the EU-funded SAFE-10-T project (www.safe10tproject.eu) will present the application of a global risk framework to the multi-modal transport network in the vicinity of the Port of Rotterdam (road, rail and inland waterway) to determine the consequences of an infrastructure failure in terms of transport flow disruption. This will be demonstrated using a novel Decision Support Tool that has been developed in the project that can be used to optimise maintenance planning.
